Email data: When you connect your email, we access carrier estimate emails and related correspondence to provide the Service. We do not read or store unrelated personal emails.

Claim data: Estimates, line items, supplement documents, and adjuster correspondence you process through Scopeback.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and performance metrics to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Analyze carrier estimates and generate supplement requests
  • Send correspondence to carriers on your behalf
  • Communicate with you about your account and the Service
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: (a) service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, AI processing, email delivery); (b) as required by law or legal process; (c) to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. AI Processing

Your claim data is processed by AI models to generate supplements. We use third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) to power our analysis. Data sent to AI providers is used solely for processing your request and is not used to train their models.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), secure authentication, and role-based access controls. OAuth tokens for email connections are encrypted before storage.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data and claim data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Disconnect your email at any time
  • Export your claim data

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
